This is a rough snapshot of the late October road trip I’m planning. Routes shown may not be quite accurate, and Astoria could be changed for Portland. The itinerary includes moderate-to-very scenic drives and a lot of brewpubs: Old Schoolhouse, Steam Plant Grill, Deschutes, 10 Barrel, Boneyard, Bend, Block 15, Rogue, Pelican, Ft. George, etc. The main challenge, of course, will be waking up early enough each day to take advantage of the weakening sunlight.
