There’s a handful of movies I haven’t seen, but that’s invariably the case until at least Valentine’s Day or so.
BOOKS
Maybe when people ask me what my favorite book is, instead of feeling confused and overwhelmed, I should just say House of Holes by Nicholson Baker. If they didn’t like it, we can argue, if they are unfamiliar with it, I can give them a lurid description, and if if it’s their favorite book as well, then we can just congratulate each other on a job well done.
I also enjoyed Chad Harbach’s The Art of Fielding very intensely. Actually, there’s a whole list if you want.
