I liked these films best out of the ones I saw at the festival. Sadly, none of them are playing next weekend at the official Best of SIFF recap.
If I really had to choose, I’d maybe go with Small Town Murder Songs as my favorite. Man at Bath didn’t strike me so much right when I saw it, but upon thinking about it later I came to value it more. Kind of like Joe Swanberg’s movies, with which it shares some similarities. I think Eternity would be even better a second time around.
